BY: TORI
Depression is no joke, it's real and it can just sneak up on you at any given time. It's hard for a person who is falling in the state of depression to realize what's going on, and even harder to go and seek help. Why ? Because it's scary, we may feel like no one is going to understand, or we may feel as though everyone is going to ignore us and act as if it isn't  real issue although it very much so is. What does it mean to be depressed ? The “urban dictionary” which is an website that basically put terms in words that the younger generation can more relate to. The  definition for depressions on there website states, “A scary enough place to visit, and i hate having to live there”(trust me, october 18). Depression requires a medical diagnoses. The symptoms are feelings of guilt, hopelessness, or anxiety. Some may even experience lack of sleep excessive sleepiness, fatigue excessive hunger, weight loss, or weight gain. Theres many more symptoms but these are just a few that you'd be able to notice right away.
